Drawings to Identify German Field Artillery

Below: 10,5cm. l.F.H.kp. 1916 in the South Carolina National Guard Museum

(NOT part of the Lovett Collection)

Note that the 10,5cm. l.F.H. Kp. 1916 does not have axle tree seats and also has barrel banding very different from the more common 10,5cm. l.F.H. 1916.

Below: 10,5cm. l.F.H.kp. 1916 10,5cm lFH Kp.1916 photograph is from " Enticklung des Artilleriematerials im Weltkrieg" by the Fried. Krupp Company

The example in this photograph appears to have the same breech system as the 10,5cm. l.F.H. 1898/09 with a spiral cog and handle whereas the example in the South Carolina Army National Guard collection seems to have a lever pull breech.
