Above & Below:  Badisches Train-Bataillon Nr.14 (Durlach) XIV Armee Korps pickelhaube.  Trains are ammunition supply troops that used horse teams and munition wagons to transport ammunition for field and foot artillery units.  All horse mounted troops wear convex chin scales or leather chin straps
